It’s been a while since I last posted a recipe on Beyond Our Sky, but this blog post is inspired by our trip to Europe last year where we learnt how to make macarons in Paris.

When we were in Milan during December, we had an amazing semifreddo at a restaurant called Be Bop, so I had to try make it myself. This dessert very refreshing and perfect for the hot, Australian summer.

Another blogpost featuring citrus and berries, with a dark chocolate glaze to top it all off. This cake is slightly different to my usual ones, featuring pink frosting rather than a more neutral tone.
I’m very excited to share one of my favourite recipes, and it is actually quite a sentimental one as my mum used to make this when we were kids.
We say goodbye to another year, and begin a new one. So welcome to 2019 and the first blogpost of the year. 2018 went by so fast and was extremely eventful. I hope to post more regularly this year, with more recipes and even some savoury food and also art.
Our time in Switzerland was shorter and more rushed than Paris, with limited days spent in multiple places. So firstly we spent a few days in Lucerne, and took a train to Engelberg to see Mt Titlis. We also went across the border back to France to visit Strasbourg for a day, and stopped in St Moritz on the way to Milan.
As you can probably tell from the title, this is not a usual recipe post but rather a travel blogpost. So my family and I have travelled to Europe for the holidays, and are currently in Paris leaving soon for Switzerland.
This is another updated blog post for a recipe I’ve done a couple times before. The first time was in July 2016, and the second time was in the form of a pavlova wreath from Christmas last year. I am sorry for the lack of new recipes; I’ve been struggling to find inspiration lately.
