Gluten-free baking does require some experimentation, particularity in terms of getting the right combination and blend of flours. So after some trial and error, I have finally perfected the recipe for these cupcakes.
Eton Mess
Eton mess is the combination of crushed meringue, whipped cream and seasonal fruit resulting in a beautiful myriad of textures and flavours. It is essentially a deconstructed pavlova.
Gluten-free Mille Feuille
Mille Feuille is a french dessert commonly known as a vanilla slice. This version is gluten-free, consisting of homemade gluten-free puff pastry and a crème légère filling.
Salted Caramel Macarons
Strawberry and Macadamia Nut Semifreddo
When we were in Milan during December, we had an amazing semifreddo at a restaurant called Be Bop, so I had to try make it myself. This dessert very refreshing and perfect for the hot, Australian summer.
Lime and Raspberry Cake
Another blogpost featuring citrus and berries, with a dark chocolate glaze to top it all off. This cake is slightly different to my usual ones, featuring pink frosting rather than a more neutral tone.
No-bake Lemon Cheesecake
I’m very excited to share one of my favourite recipes, and it is actually quite a sentimental one as my mum used to make this when we were kids.
Ricotta and Hazelnut Cheesecake
We say goodbye to another year, and begin a new one. So welcome to 2019 and the first blogpost of the year. 2018 went by so fast and was extremely eventful. I hope to post more regularly this year, with more recipes and even some savoury food and also art.
