Paris has always held a special place in my heart. Our journey began and ended in this city, so it feels only right that my final post about Europe is dedicated to Paris.

Norway was a pleasant surprise – serene, beautiful and full of quiet charm. We only had a few days to explore Oslo and Bergen, but I was overall happy with what we managed to see and do.

We spent a few days in Switzerland exploring Iseltwald, Interlaken, Grindelwald and Zurich. The Swiss Alps in the summer were beautiful – the perfect blend of green valleys, alpine lakes and snow-capped mountains.

The Dolomites has always been my dream destination, and being there was everything I hoped for. All the views were breathtaking and the experience truly exceeded my expectations.

This was our first time in Japan and we spent one week exploring this incredibly diverse country. I am very excited to share with you the highlights and my recommendations.
This trip to New Zealand’s South Island was my first time overseas since the pandemic. I am very excited to share with you my favourite places, hikes, restaurants, and things to see.
Our time in Switzerland was shorter and more rushed than Paris, with limited days spent in multiple places. So firstly we spent a few days in Lucerne, and took a train to Engelberg to see Mt Titlis. We also went across the border back to France to visit Strasbourg for a day, and stopped in St Moritz on the way to Milan.
As you can probably tell from the title, this is not a usual recipe post but rather a travel blogpost. So my family and I have travelled to Europe for the holidays, and are currently in Paris leaving soon for Switzerland.
